Solicitor Costs

The fee for our service is currently $280.00 per hour, plus GST. This fee covers the time spent by Elizabeth Pemberton doing work requiring the skill of a lawyer (for example, but not limited to, time spent in conference, receiving instructions, advising, negotiating, appearing in court, telephone calls, drafting and settling documents and letters, reading documents and research).

Appointments relating to Family Law matters are free of charge for the 1st half hour of the initial appointment only.

Simple Will (including GST)

(Wills which are more complicated to prepare will incur a higher cost)

Will + Power of Attorney and/or Enduring Guardianship (including GST)

Prices quoted for Wills, Power of Attorney & Enduring Guardianship includes taking instructions, preparing documents & attending to client executing documents.

Any Wills and/or related documents prepared for a Family Law client will be given a 10% discount.

Conveyancing

Plea in Court (including GST)

Work in addition to this on an hourly rate.

Other Matters (including GST)

IF YOU CONSIDER THAT YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR Legal Aid; which is subject to a number of requirements, including a Means Test and a Merit Test of your case, this office offers an e-lodgement service by virtue of which Family Law Legal Aid applications are lodged with the Legal Aid once all necessary details have been entered into an on-line application. 

We accept payment in the form of a cheque, cash, VISA, BankCard or EFT.  Under some circumstances, payment by Bank Cheque or cash may be required.
